The HHPR Innovation Showcase is a student-led event to highlight the diverse research and experiential learning opportunities for students in the Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation. Connect, learn, and join the conversation.
Attend
As the department of “health and recreation,” our students learn a variety of highly applicable skills with immediate real-world impact on creating a healthier tomorrow. Come see what our students are doing to make a difference from lab benches, in the classroom, and in our community.
Present
Undergraduate and graduate students in HHPR are welcome to present their research or course-related experiences (see Submit and Present page for details).
Submissions may be for poster or oral presentations. Research presentations will be judged for awards given at the end of the event.

Engage
Faculty in HHPR are welcome to integrate the event into their courses, volunteer to review abstracts, or judge presentations on the day-of. Graduate students can also gain service experience by volunteering time for judging undergraduate presentations.
